After 20 years working at my Montecito home, it was definitely time to open a design studio away from the kids, husband, lawn blowers and barking dogs.My new office 730 Anacapa Street is beautifully situated in the historic district of downtown Santa Barbara. It has quickly become my new design haven. Large windows allow for great natural light, as well as a picturesque view of trees and adobe buildings. The outside patio has become the perfect space for a client meeting or a drink at the end of a long day with friends.

Surrounded by all of my design books, fabric, paint and carpet samples, I have everything I need for an existing or incoming project. Anything I don’t have can be found right around the corner, along with high energy restaurants, wine tasting rooms and my favorite: Starbucks.

I will be posting photos of inspiration, fabrics, furniture, and links to anything that looks fresh, quirky and interesting—or is just a good deal! I am excited by this new phase of my business life. I hope you will check out my blog from time to time, and see what’s new. I look forward to dreaming up and sharing some creative ideas and working to see them come to life.
